Prospectus and Application Form will be available at University Cash Counter and in all the Directorate of Distance Education Study Centres in Tamil Nadu.
Cost of Application Form Rs. 1,500/-.
Application can also be obtained by sending Demand Draft for Rs. 1,550/- (including postal charges) drawn in favour of The Registrar, Annamalai University, from any Bank payable at Chennai.

Eligibility

Candidate should be a Citizen of India.
Overseas citizens of India who are registered under section 7A of the Citizenship Act 1955 (Central Act 57 of 1955) are eligible to apply for MBBS/BDS courses subject to the production of proof of such registration.
Nativity
- Candidate should be a Native of Tamil Nadu.
- Candidates who have studied from VIII to XII standards at schools inside Tamil Nadu need not enclose the “Nativity Certificate”.
- Candidates who are native of Tamil Nadu but studied from VIII to XII Std. either partly or completely at schools situated outside Tamil Nadu should produce the “Nativity Certificate”.
- The Nativity Certificate in Tamil Nadu should be issued by the competent authority only in the specified format available in the prospectus and supported by a copy of Passport / Ration Card / Birth Certificate. If the copy of the supporting document is not produced, then the application will be rejected. Nativity Certificate submitted later will be summarily rejected.
- Applications without a proper Nativity Certificate will not be considered.
- Permanent Residence Certificate will not be accepted.
- Nativity Certificate should be produced as per Instructions for Nativity Certificate.
- Production of false Nativity Certificate, if found during the course of study, will result in expulsion of the candidate and also initiation of criminal proceedings against the candidate as well as the parents as per law.
Age Limit
Candidates should have completed Seventeen years of age on or before 31st of December, 2014. i.e should have born on or before 31.12.1997. Evidence should be produced.
Educational Qualification
Candidates should have passed in all the subjects of the qualifying examination of the Higher Secondary Course conducted by the Tamil Nadu State Board/any other equivalent Board in a single sitting with the following group of subjects and securing minimum eligible marks.
- Physics, Chemistry, Botany and Zoology.
- Physics, Chemistry, Biology with any other subject.
* Candidates who have passed the HSC in the Vocational Stream and private candidates are not eligible to apply for Medical/Dental Courses.

    Clinical (General Category) Rs. 11,00,000/- (Rupees Eleven Lakh only).
    Para Clinical (General Category) Rs. 6,00,000/- (Rupees Six Lakh Only).
    Pre Clinical (General Category) Rs. 3,00,000/- (Rupees Three Lakh Only).
  - Diploma
    General Category Rs. 6,00,000/- (Rupees Six Lakh Only)
    NRI Seat : Rs. 8,50,000/- (Rupees Eight Lakh Fifty Thousand only)
    Enrollment Fees : Rs. 10000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand Only) (One Time).
    Eligibility Fees : Rs. 10000/- ( Rupees Ten Thousand Only) (One Time).
    
    The tuition fee for the first year will have to be paid within time limit given at the time of counseling . Failure to pay the tuition fees within specified time will result in automatic cancellation of admission offered to candidate.
    
    The Tuition fees demand draft / Pay order is to be paid in the favor of Padmashree Dr D Y Patil Medical College.
    
    The tuition fees for the subsequent years will have to be paid as and when notified by the Vidyapeeth / College. The candidate may be required to give a bank guarantee to cover fees of subsequent years.
    
    The fees once paid are non refundable.
Dental
- The annual tuition fee for Post Graduate Degree courses for General Category will be Rs. 8,00,000 Rupees Eight Lac only ) and for NRI seats will be Rs. 8,50,000/- (Rupees Eight lac Fifty thousand only).
  
  Enrollment Fees : Rs.10000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand Only) (One Time)
  Eligibility Fees : Rs.10000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand Only) (One Time)
